Rexfilm Inc. is a small television company company based in Montreal, Canada. Its principals are Joe and Emmanuelle Wiecha - they met in an editing room years ago, and it’s still a place where they like to spend many hours... because that’s where the magic happens!
We’ve made lots of money and lots of big ratings for lots of companies, and one of these days we’ll do it for ourselves. But until then, we’re more than happy to be making great documentary series like Flight of the Jetman (History Television), Brothers at War (National Geographic), Licence to Drill (Discovery Canada) and Trashopolis (History Television) for other independent producers.
MANU WIECHA is a Producer, Story Editor and Video Editor.
She is now producing Licence to Drill II (6 x 1hr) and Trashopolis II (8 x 1hr), two series she developed for Pixcom Productions.

And here she is grinning on November 2rd, 2010 - flanked by Jacquelin Bouchard, Pixcom Productions’ President and founder (on the right), and Nicola Merola, Head of International Productions - with the Gemini Award for Best Documentary Series for Licence to Drill Season I.
A Gemini is the Canadian equivalent of a US Emmy, or a British BAFTA.
